The LockSurface method locks the attached DirectDraw surface.
Syntax
HRESULT LockSurface(
BYTE** lpSurface
);
Parameters
lpSurface
[out] Address of a pointer to a BYTE that will receive the DirectDraw surface if the method succeeds.
Return Values
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
| Error Code | Description |
| E_POINTER | lpSurface is invalid. |
| E_FAIL | No DirectDraw surface is attached to this sample. |
